Can we use AMP Pages for non HTTPS Website?

While a site running over HTTP and want to add AMP then the first question that comes to mind! AMP Pages work with HTTP site? can we add AMP page for non HTTPS website? AMP Pages will work on HTTP or HTTPS?

And then we start searching, we found many articles where they focus to use HTTPS for website. As we know, HTTPS is a fairly important ranking signal. And beyond a SEO boost, SSL should just be a standard part of any site’s cybersecurity implementation, period.

But it’s not mean that AMP required HTTPS. there are multiple things to do with website for SEO. AMP and HTTPS, these two are different things and does depend on each others.

if you’re thinking of implementing AMP, that shouldn’t affect your choice between HTTP and HTTPS in any way. So you have two choices to make: “do you want to implement AMP?” (and it sounds like you do); and “do you want to go HTTPS?”.

“But some of AMP features supported over only HTTPS protocol. AMP does not required HTTPS, unless you have to using form tag in your HTML. So, About using HTTPS or HTTP with AMP, If you are using form tag in your HTML ,Your answer is Yes! You must host AMP pages on HTTPS URLs.”
