How to configure Horizontal Pod Autoscaler(HPA) in Kubernetes (EKS)?

Horizontal Pod Autoscaler scales the number of Pods in a Deployment. Statefulset, ReplicaSet based on CPU/Memory utilization or any custom metrics exposed by your application. The HPA works on a control loop. Each separate HPA exists for each Deployment, Statefulset, Replicaset. The HPA object constantly checks the Deployments, Statefulset, Replicaset’s metrics against the Memory/CPU threshold that you specify and keeps on increasing/decreasing the replicas count. By using HPA we will only be paying for the extra resources only when we need them.
Steps to setup HPA:
Install Metrics Server
a. Copy below contents to one file named as metrics-server.yml
